Ancient Assyria

This time I read alot. I learn:West Asia is also call Near East. A part of Asian near to the Mediterranean. There are many countries in there. Like Turkestan, Afghanistan, the Persian Gulf. it was the first places farmed and live in a town, and had kings and built cities. After the Sumerians, many grounps of people take the power in Weat Asia like Assyrians and Persians.

I look the pictures. Many pictures on the wall. I learn :
Assyrians around 2300BC, when Sargon of Akkad invad their small kingdom to the north. After 2000BC, when Assur became the collapsing 3rd Dynasty of Ur, the Assyrians became a well-known trader, who travell with between Assur and southern Turkey with donkeys.

In the Neolithic period, people started to live on a island of Crete in the Mediterranean Sea. We don't where they come. Maybe West Asia, Greece, or Eygpt.

minos is one of the king in Minoan, a legendary ruler of Crete. he is Zeus son. The city of Knossos he colonize many of the Aegean islands. In this site, is a little diffcult. So I only read some of them.

I look the first paragraph. This is about the History. Egypt was the most fertile place in Africa, and it was most fertile place around the Mediterranean Sea. Because it is too fertile, so people start came live. About 40000years ago. There didn't have many people, but Egypt became more crowed. So they need a unified goverment. About 5000 yaers ago the Pharaoh governance them.

This website is about the Egypt's Sphinx. No one know when have the Sphinx build, someone says they built at around 2500 BC. Sphinx is 66 feet tall more than 240 feet long. The first Sphinx faces way is east. The scientists says the Sphinx bear the rain 4000years and didn't erosion alot. I look the picture of Sphinx and Pyramids. It was amazed.
